WELLS WILKINSON is the Director of the Prescription Access Litigation (PAL) project at Community Catalyst. He coordinates PAL's work to end illegal pharmaceutical industry tactics, including overseeing PAL's coalition of over 130 consumer advocacy organizations, PAL's involvement in pharmaceutical class action lawsuits, and PAL's advocacy and public education activities. Prior to joining PAL, he worked for the Social Security Administration, preparing disability cases for agency hearings, while also starting a small private practice focusing on consumer protection. During his time in law school, Wilkinson helped draft legislation regulating non-profit financial governance requirements while interning with the Attorney-General’s Public Charities Division, and he investigate discrimination claims at the Cambridge Human Rights Commission.
 
Wells became active in local grassroots political organizing working for Boston Mobilization for Survival from 1991 to 2001, on peace, health reform, globalization, community and youth organizing campaigns. Wells also worked on healthcare reform with Citizens for Participation in Political Action and the Massachusetts Campaign for Single-Payer Health Care in the mid-1990s. He holds a B.A. in Biology from Boston University, and a law degree from New England School of Law.
